Hi Heather, Why don't you have your doctor order another ultrasound in 2 - 3 weeks to check on their size? If they are not larger, you can continue to wait, if they are larger schedule the surgery right away. As for the potential risks of further damage, etc. I couldn't offer any advice about that.
