Anna WE all have patients that have these sort of chronic infections. I usually tell my patients not to douche too much (ie no more than every couple of weeks-max), try using condoms for a cycle or two (some evidence of sexual transmission), and no sex other than 'regular' (ie oral, anal). See if this helps. It can be a real problem. Good Luck.
