I did have key hole surgery in February 1999 and the pain started around June 1999. The surgery was to remove my appendix and the incisions for key-hole surgery were on my left side and at my naval. I stopped taking the pill when i had the surgery and i was previously on it for three or so years. Since I've come off the pill, I've had heavy periods and for the first few days, I've been nauseous and have had bad cramps. I do not have pain with intercourse. The consultant i saw thought at first the pain may have been related to ovulation but then he told me that if it was, it wouldn't last more than one day and the pain should be relatively mild. Thank you for replying so quickly. I would appreciate it if you have any further suggestions.
