Birth Control PillsFrom: Margo (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 28 Apr 2000 21:16:29 -0500 (CDT)
What type of oral contraceptive is recommended for women with PCOS? I am on Depo Provera right now and it made the symptoms MUCH worse. I want to go back on oral contraceptives (Depo Provera cycle ends in mid June)and I am wondering which one(s) would be best. Right now on Depo Provera I can bleed for almost 2 months straight or not at all and I have almost daily cramping whether bleeding is there or not. Needless to say I am miserable most of the time. I do have an appointment with my Gynecologist May 11. I just wasn't sure what would be the best one to use. Also, do I have to wait for bleeding to start after the Depo Provera ends before beginning the oral contraceptives?
