Re: Cervical mucous during period

Dr. Shanahan,

It's not just blood. To be frank, I have touched it and it is mucous, just like, well, to be a layperson, snot. Also, it arrives just before my period too, in a clear form. I do ovulate (confirmed by OPK's and temp. rise), but ovulation is not proceeded by this type of mucous. Based on this, can you tell me if you think I should see a doctor about either my period or my lack of mid-cycle mucous?

Thanks.
