Clomid stimulates ovulation anywhere from 5 -10 days after the last pill is taken. 6 days after the last pill seems to be the most common day to ovulate. So, if you are taking Clomid cycle days 5 - 9, you'll ovulate anywhere from day 14 - 19, but most likely on day 15. Traditional recommendations after using Clomid have been to have sex every other day beginning 5 days after the last Clomid (cycle day 14) and continuing for 1 week (until cycle day 20)

If you really want to optimize chances of conceiving, consider using an ovulation predictor test. Begin testing about 3 days after you finish the clomid (cycle day 12) and continue testing until you get a positive result (the test line will be as dark or darker than the reference line). Since these tests indicate that you will likley ovulate in the next 12 - 36 hours, be sure to have sex in that timeframe!

Good luck. I've been there, done that (and Pergonal too) and now have a beautiful 16.5 month old daughter -- hang in there because it's all worth it!
