CondylomasFrom: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 17 Apr 2000 20:48:01 -0500 (CDT)
I was treated for cervical warts (a gift from an ex-boyfriend) in 1984 to 1987 ... my paps during those times went to a class III ... I had cryo, cone, laser, and cauterization. My paps finally were normal ... I met, married and had kids. Now divorce, my fiance has occ. discharge, that he has had treated with just an antibiotic, but he says it is some type of non-specific urtheritis, or something similar to a yeast infection he "must have" picked up from ME ... I occ. have heavy milky discharge, but it just clears up and goes away ... during the last round of HIS, I had my OB swab me and I was FINE ... no problems, however I do have a POLYP on my cervics she is watching ... Is it possible that the 'virus' can cause these things to happen to him and me occ. just the discharge, and urge to urinate freq.? Then go away? Or is something else going on? I didn't tell him about the wart situation because they were only on my cervics and were completely removed ... they have never come back, and I had never been told it stays in my system ... What to think?
