So continuous spotting or light bleeding isn't anything to be concerned about?

If you had a patient that you wanted to do a pap on at the check up, and their bleeding continued for over 8 weeks because (probably) of Depo injection, would you wait on the exam or would you want to stop the bleeding with some type of medication?
