IUD, Nausea, Breastfeeding...From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 11 Apr 2000 12:51:33 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I hope someone here can help me. I had my IUD inserted in November of 99. Exactly one month later I started to experience nausea everyday. I few weeks later I went to my family doctor to have my thyroid checked (history of hyperthyroid). It was normal. I don't beleive I told my family doctor about the IUD though. Since that time, I still feel like I am going to throw up. Some days are worse than others. I sometimes find that heat is a trigger. Other times I can't pinpoint a cause. Could the IUD be causuing this? What other possibilities are there? Thanks.
