Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: mild dysplasia" I have recently had a test for dysplasia that included going in and taking a "pinch" from my cervix (I don't know what it's called). They called me in that week to have cryosurgery - due to what they called Mild Dysplasia. Can anyone tell me what that means? My doctor was vague and told me not to worry myself about cancer, etc. That a high percent of the time, the cryosurgery is done and you never have any other symptoms. What is dysplasia?
