trisomy18

I am 34 years old now and will be 35 when I deliver my 3rd child. An US @ 21 weeks detected bilateral cord plexus cysts which measured 5mm and 6mm. My US was otherwise normal. I had a level 2 US and still nothing else was found abnormal. My AFP testing was normal also. I have met with a perionatologist (sp?) who could only suggest amnio as a test to know whether trisomy18 was present. I am now 22 weeks and don't have much time to decide. I opted to not have the amnio as I do have a history of pre-term labor (1st child born @ 34 weeks and healthy & 2nd child labor started @ 31 weeks but with rest and RX born @ 39 weeks). With no other factors or indicators of this disorder, wonder if I am making wrong decision.
