Odd questionFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 6 Apr 2000 12:14:28 -0500 (CDT)
I know this doesn't have anything to do with women's health but since there are a lot of MD doctors I figured I'd ask anyways. Does anyone know how much a baby needs to be eating before you introduce rice cereal? The reason I'm asking is that mine is only 6 weeks old but he takes over 35, sometimes up to 40 ounces of formula a day. Plus I've already started him on diluted apple juice and I give him water as well. I tried propping him up today and giving him a little cereal mixed real thin with formula and he seemed to do well with it. He ate it and took formula behind it and went to sleep fine.
