Montgomery, MD: "Re: Fishy Vaginal Odor/Foul Body Odor" I have suffered from chronic body odors for the past five years that can be described as fishy and/or foul. It is often accompanied by a fishy vaginal odor. Only once have I been diagnosed with Bacterial Vaginosis. Twice the doctors described Metranodizole because they noticed the odor. I've hear that a rare disorder called Trimethylaminuria (Fish Malodor Syndrome) could be a possible cause. Could there possibly be a gynocological cause for the chronic fishy odor and/or body odor?
