I got my tubal after our fourth child was born 2 1/2 yrs ago. My period was not very regular but did consistantly last 4 days with med. to heavy bleeding lessening the last day or so. For awile after my tubal my periods were very regular and extremely heavy. For the last four months I don't know when they're coming or if I will just spot or bleed heavily. My husband was not willing to have a vasectomy, and therefore I got a tubal ligation so I wouldn't have to take the pill. My surgery was anything but pleasant and I would have skipped it if I had known I would end up back on the pill.
