I recently had a Mammogram (age 48) and was sent a letter that I should return in 6 months for a follow-up. this has never happened before, The letter states that further evaluation following a routine exam is sometimes done as a extra precaution in select cases. They really didn't explain if they saw anything. It was advised only for the right breast.
