Lisa,

I can sympathize with you about the irritation and burning sensations. I have a condition known as vulvodynia, and with this condition one of the things that can happen is that sometimes when wears jeans and underwear is burning and irritation.

I have vulvodynia, and I have a problem with wearing underwear unless I numben the area up.

To learn more about vulvodynia check out:

http://www.obgyn.net/endo/endo.asp (look for the article "Living with Endometriosis and Vulvodynia as this will tell you about my experiences with both of these conditions).

I don't know how to answer you on the discharge part of this question.

I'm glad to hear that you have done well with the Atkins diet.

If I can be of more assistance to you please feel free to drop me a line any time.

Take care,

Kristy :)

It's the little things that count: candy, flowers, finding an ob/gyn who will listen, and finding a cure for endometriosis, vulvodynia, and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
