It is unlikely that you would catch an STD from oral sex. Taste is a relative thing, so it is difficult to say if there is anything different about you. Yeast infections do not usually cause any particular odor, and if you have no complaints about discharge or itching, you probably don't have an infection. I would try not to be so concerned about what happened. As first experiences go, it doesn't sound too terrible. He may just have been unsure of what to expect.

Most importantly, your gyn visits shouldn't cause a lot of pain. Virginal women should be able to be examined without significant discomfort if the the doc uses patience and the correctly sized instruments.
