The radiation therapy can cause the tissue to be prone to scarring. A smaller implant may result in less distortion than a full sized one. Also, the more surgeries you have, the more scar tissue is likely to form. At some point, breast prosthetics may be the better approach for you. Using your own fat for implants would not work because the volume of fat needed would not have any blood supply to keep it viable and it would die and disolve and possibly cause infection.
