>>Just came across this forum, it has been a mine of information for me. After one perfectly healthy pregnancy and delivery 8 years ago, in the last 3 years I have had 3 miscarriages - all at 7 weeks. I am now 9 weeks pregnant and my doctor wants me to take Heparin and baby aspirin for the rest of my pregnancy. I tested negative for everything apart from Factor V Leiden. I have no history of blood clots or thrombosis, have not taken the contracteptive pill for 18 years and am extremely reluctant to do twice daily injections. From some of the messages it seems that in my position baby aspirin is sufficient, which i have started taking. Any advice? I have been for three doctor visits and have seen three different doctors, they lost a blood sample and my files. I do not have much faith in them or the clinic, but unfortunately due to the American insurance system, I have no other choice but to go to them, as they are the only ones that take my military insurance. It seems to me, that in England (I am English) doctors are not so quick to prescribe Heparin, any truth in this?
