Birth Control Side Effects Question

I have been prescribed Ortho Cyclin, but before I begin I would like some information about how it compares, side effect wise, to Depo Provera. I had a Depo injection 2 months postpartum (June '99) and to sum it up, felt horrible until it finally got out of my system. My ob/gyn's nurse at the time told me it was impossible that the way I was feeling was in any way related to the injection, but I have since talked to 2 other doctors about it (one of which I am currently seeing & prescribed the Ortho Cyclin) and they both confirmed via the PDR and their other patient's experiences, that yes the effects were most likely related to the Depo. Anyway, after that episode, I have become very hesitant to take anything. My current MD assured me that since the pill is a combo and not just progesterone like the Depo, I should be OK. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had experience with both or if the doctors could confirm any of the info for me. As a side note, I also suffer from PCOS. Thank you for any help anyone could offer!
