Nearing the end of endo treatments - very depressing

I had a lap in January where my doctor found endo on my right ovary. She removed what she could. After surgery, the pain came back. When I went to see her, I was expecting Lupron based on what I have read here on the forum. But my doctor said that she has found just as effective results with Danazol as with Lupron, and Lupron has much worse side effects. (FYI there is a JAMA article comparing all the types of treatments and effectness if anyone is interested. Just go to the JAMA site and search for endo treatments).

So I went on Danazol 400 mg a day plus Ortho/Novum 1/50. And I did get relief from the pain. I was having a problem with bloating, so I was reduced to 200 mg a day and was still having no pain. About a month ago, I started having severe migraines. Like every 5 out of 7 days I was having a debilating migraine. One 2 day migraine that wasn't resolved with Imatrex had me winding up in the ER with a shot of Demerol.

When I called my doctor to tell her about this, she told me to stop the Danazol. That was a few days ago, and I'm experiencing slight pain, but not as bad as it was.

Am I totally screwed? I read how Lupron can caused hair loss, and not to sound vain, but I love my hair. And I'm afraid if I couldn't handle Danazol, then Lupron would be out of the question. I'm 25 years old, married, no children. Is my only option to have surgery and remove the ovary?

If I do remove the ovary, which is the only area where endo and pain were found, then what is the likelyhood of it returning in another place? If I continue on the high dose BCP, would that be enough to keep the endo from returning?

I understand that pregnancy would give me endo relief for 9 months, but I refuse to have a child when I'm not ready to, just for pain relief.

Can anyone explain why once I was put on the Danazol and BCP that my skin has developed what I think are stretch marks? I'm not overweight and the bloating wasn't that severe. Does the lack of estrogen cause changes in skin flexablity? Would that stop now that I'm just taking the BCP? Again, I know it sounds vain, but I'm young and I won't get into a bathing suit while these marks are all over me.

Thank you for any responses.
