Hip & Buttock Pain

I had a complete vaginal hyst in'99. During the surgery, I hemorraged and almost died. Intervention radiology could not find the cause of the bleed. Since then, I have had constant pain in my left hip and buttock. I also have tingling in my toes on my left foot. (While I was in ICU, this was the first thing I mentioned.) The radiologist ordered an MRI for a possible hematoma several months later, when things were not getting better, but this came back negative. I am still finding it very difficult to sit for any length of time because of the discomfort in the hip/buttock area. I have done some research, and read alot of posts on other web sites about women who are having the same problem after their hyst. What could be causing this discomfort? Is it the type of suture use during the surgery or the position I was in, etc? One source suggested it could be the way the sutures were tied to the liagments?? I did not have this problem until after the surgery. Any light you could shed on this would be helpful, along with any suggestions for relief. Thank you
