Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Postpartum bleeding 8wks" I am still bleeding 8 weeks postpartum. While it is not alot, it is still bothersome. It is more than a pantyliner can handle. I almost stopped at 2wks only to restart. It was red in color. At 6 wk check up dr. did not seem worried. Pap came back normal. Started birth control at 7 wks, with first pill bleeding dramatically reduced, but not stopped. Has been ongoing like that since. Color is pinkish/redish mixed in a mucousy dishcharge. I am terrified something is seriously wrong. Which direction should I steer my dr. in finding a solution.
