Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: No period" I am 36 years old and have Lupas. I have always had regular periods. In Dec. 98 I began Depro Prova shots for birth control. I took 3 total, completing in June of 99. My period stopped one month into the first shot. My Dr. did blood work (I do have thyroid problems)and did not see anything abnormal. I am having a pelvic ultrsound tomorrow. Other symptoms are discomfort in the bladder area and weight gain. Could this be due to the depro prova shots? What else would stop your period like this. Next message: Harvey S.
