I am a 23 yr old and I have 1 child I had a cycle in oct of 99 i had a period two weeks later I had another period which was in nov. dec.my cycle was 38 days jan. my cycle was 36 days feb my cycle was 37 days. I went to the doctor in feb. and she put me on birth control and done a pap smear and it come back normal. I have been taking the pill for almost one month now and I have been having cramps and spotting. also when I have my cycles I have passed alot of blood clots and cramped severly my doctor says the pill will help. but I really think something else is wrong with me because I haven't been on birth control for 5 yrs and I have not gotten pregant but I haven't been trying either but it seems like it should of happened already . My husband and I want to have another one now and I am really concerned. what could be causing the cramping because I never cramp in between periods but this month I have also when I hold my urine I start to hurt severly and after i use the restroom my pain stays a little while and then goes away could you please give me some examples of what could be wrong with me are any suggestions you may have .
