Tried 2 trials of Provera for 10 days & nothing. We did several tests, including thyroid, FSH, etc- all negative. Then my OB put me on Estrogen for 30 days, and Provera for the last 10 of those 30- the idea being to build up my lining, and it worked for that month.
There are several potential causes of amennorhea (thyroid, weight loss,
excessive exercise, etc)-some of these can be ruled out by tests like
the ones I had done. My best advice is to talk to your OBGYN. Good
luck!
