2 periodsFrom: Carolyn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 11 Mar 2000 22:34:00 -0600 (CST)
My daughter who is 16 has very irregular periods. Last year she tried the pill, because she missed 3 months in a row. She was on them for 5 months and got her periods then every month. Then in September she was getting terriable headaches and did not want to take them anymore. She then got her period in October and November. Then in Dec, Jan, & Feb she did not so I took her back to the Gyno and he put her on provera for 5 days to bring her period on and she got it the day after she stopped the provera. That was on Feb 26th. She then started to take the pill on the next day because the gyno said to take the 1st Sunday when you get your period. She is taking Loestrin Fe 1/20. She just started again with another period. (started on Friday) Today she has alot of bleeding and cramps. Is this considered break through bleeding? Is this normal. She has not missed any pills. Also she has a whole week of pills should she continue taking them? Please give me some advice. She has had her period for 3 years now and has never been regular. Thanks
