Yes, during pregnancy you should not *try* to lose any weight. Although some women get "morning sickness" so bad that they do lose a few pounds, you should never intentionally try to lose weight while pregnant. Just eat healthy foods and exercise moderately, provided there are no medical reasons why you shouldn't, and worry about losing weight after baby is born.

It's amazing how fast the pounds come off after deliver if you breastfeed! At least they did for me. :)
