Recently we were moving house and I wanted to not have a period at all this month. So I skipped the sugar pills and went straight on to the next months active pills. It didn't stop my period, only delayed it for about five days. It has been a longer than usual period as well. The bleeding has stopped but there is still a brownish discharge. Why is this happening? I thought that skipping the sugar pills stopped a period altogether for that month. Thanks for your advice. Angel.
