Adhesions

I had TAH,BSO,appendectomy 5/26/99.I didn't have Endo according to Dr. who did surgery, just adhesions on parts he took out.Since then I have had lots of discomfort under right rib, bloating, constipation, pulling toward left side.I am scheduled for a Endoscope April 7 and a diagnostic lap to look at gallbladder.I had a 38 on my scan and Dr.said that was borderling nonfunctioning. If the gallbladder looks bad he will remove it and look for adhesions and a Endo.specialist will step in and remove adhesions.Dr.Albee in Atlanta and he said sounds like maybe intestine attached to abd.wall after Hyst.THis is my dilemma. My internist said I am crazy to have all this done as I will be worse after gallbladder removal and adhesion removal. These Drs.do not cut.Would it be better to risk gallbladder removal in an emergency situation or have a bowel obstruction and have to cut.I don't understand my Internist's thinking. He gave me RX for acid reflux.I have discomfort and bulgy feeling under right rib.Doesn't that sound more like adhesions?I am really confused. This Dr.Albee is supposed to be an expert in his field of adhesion removal. Can adhesions really not be removed and you could be better?I want to know the problem, not wait around for worst circumstances.Bowel obstruction, liver damage from bad gallbladder? Thanks Susan
