If so, I'd love to hear from you! Please forgive me if this is off topic...I posted it here because I have a lot of respect for the doctors who frequent this forum and would really value your insight. I just finished reapplying for the second time and got rejected again...as you might imagine, I'm quite depressed about it. It is some consolation that one of the doctors I work with got rejected twice at his state school, before finally getting accepted the third time...and this guy is the most caring, compassionate person I have ever met, with the best bedside manner I've ever seen in any doctor. So obviously, the med schools do make mistakes... BTW I'm a non-traditional applicant with high MCAT scores (34), a good GPA (3.7), and a graduate degree, along with volunteer experiences in two different settings, lots of additional life experiences, and a disadvantaged background. Everyone I know says they think I'd make a great doctor, so I am absolutely stumped! If any of you have time, please feel free to email me off-list.
