Hi Peggy,
I know I am not Dr. Marchbein, and hope that you don't mind me putting
in my .02.
I think a second opinion with another Dr. is definitely the way to go.
Just because the colonoscopy was normal (hurray ;o) ), doesn't mean that
there isn't something on the *outside* of the bowel. You might want to
consult with a Reproductive Endocrinologist, and if surgery is
suggested, as that a general or colo-rectal surgeon be available to help
with the Endo that may be on the bowel. With my last surgery, I had a
general surgeon in with my Endo Spec. My GYN took care of Endo that was
on the cecum during the first surgery, and a few months later, at the
second surgery, there was no Endo on that part.
