I have suggested to the surgeon(s) that I could have microscopic endo, but yet, they don't take biopsies and from what I have read that is the only way to detect microscopic endo. The general surgeon said that if there are adhesions deep underneath the colon the laparoscopy would not be the proper tool to use, that is why he is suggesting a laparotomy, which I had signed for when I had the scope done on 2/15/00..so, I won't be able to do surgery again anytime soon because of work and having to schedule time off. I am at my wits end, but again, it helps to get some input. Hope all is well with you. Oh, by the way, I did have the small bowel series done and it was normal, but when the surgeon when in at that time 1994, I believe it was, he did find adhesions (massive) on the colon. So, I am off to a GI doc and hopefully she will tell me more. Thanks! >Hi, > >You said that you had two *negative* laparoscopies, yet they found endo >"in" your ovary.
