I have a scarring condition which is unique. I give the doctor the opportunity to "show off" my condition in order to help educate others so they will be more informed. I would do the same for any area of my body.As a teacher, I believe that apprenticing is the best way to learn any new job or skill, including the art of practicing medicine. My concern lies in under whose supervision the resident is an apprentice. I would hope the supervisory postion candidates would be screened and reevaluated often to ensure the best training for the up and coming as well as top notch patient care. Good luck in your crusade.
