1 abnormal pap now colposcopy, invasive?From: M. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 10 Feb 2000 13:24:45 -0600 (CST)
I'm 24 & never been pregnant. Had a normal pap 4 yrs. ago & then my OB/GYN moved out of state. In the meantime was searching for new Dr. Found one. Went to new Dr. and had a pap done for a yearly just a few weeks ago. During my pap the Dr. says to his nurse to write up a prescription for Terazol 7 because I have a slight yeast infection. Then I get a call from this Dr.'s office stating my pap came back CIN I & that they wanted to do a colposcopy. Went for colposcopy yesterday & during it Dr. says that it all looks very normal. But went ahead & took a biopsy & scrap. Is this evasive?? Also when I look on the screen & see my cervix I notice 3 blue spots(look like real light bruises) I ask the nurse what this might be & she says they don't really know. Concerned. Does the tissue Dr. took grow back? Is this going to effect my fertility?
