A couple laparoscopy questions

I just had laparoscopic surgery done on Monday to remove an ovarian cyst and endo. This was my first time having this done, so I've got a couple questions.

I had some slight bleeding Monday night after the surgery, which I know is normal. There was nothing yesterday. I'm about 4 weeks indo an annovulatory cycle, so when I started bleeding a lot this morning, I assumed it was my period. It wouldn't be from the surgery, would it (since I didn't have any bleeding yesterday)? I just want to make sure since it's fairly heavy and clotty.

My other question is... what does this mean in more simple terms? I asked my doctor how he removed the cyst, and this is what he said. "I removed the cyst by excising a portion of the cyst wall, then peeling the capsule from inside." I'd like to understand what this means.
