DAUGHER WHO HEMORRAGHED AT 12. WHAT TO DO??????From: Anna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 9 Feb 2000 19:04:12 -0600 (CST)
My daughter was 11 when she got her first menses. She would get it every couple of months. When she was 12 she hemorraghed and had to have a D and C. She was then put on birth control. She was on this for a year and then she on her own stopped taking the pill. The month after she stopped she had a normal menses. The next month January she did not get a period. This is february and she has not gotten it this month. She turned 14 on 2-2-00. Today I took her to the Dr and she put her on a lower dose of birth control and said she may not be ovulating. How can I be certain of what the problem is. Should I have her tested further? Also she has inverted nipples and can this be corrected? Thank You.
