Question about LH surge and ovulation

I'm using an ovulation predictor kit to try to pinpoint ovulation since my cycles have been messed up since my last miscarriage/D&C. I've used them (successfully I might add) before, but I'm not sure what to think of them this month.

I went from seeing no surge line, to a very faint line, to a bit darker line, to a very faint line, to nothing. The line was never close to the color of the reference line. My temps don't reflect ovulation. Is there only one chance for an LH surge, or is there a chance ovulation will just be happening late so I should keep looking for the positive surge on the opk? Or, should I just accept the fact that this is an anovulatory cycle since I've already seen the only LH surge I'm going to have this month?

If anyone can help, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks, Kris
