There is no consensus in the literature. Every doctor pretty much gives his or her interpretation of their own comfort level with this. Best choice is to ask your doctor. I know of some doctors that don't allow it at all and some who allow it throughout pregnancy. Check with your own doctor for his/her medical opinion.
