Oh brother. I'm clearly from a different era than you Barbara. Also, as a woman in the same animal kingdom that you're in, I'd like to reply that I don't need to feel loving, wonderful, or sexy to have an orgasm. Orgasm is not dependent upon a "courting period" with the male species nor is it dependent upon being "made love to" -- criminy, ask any man who's ever had sex if he had to "make love" in order to reach an orgasm during intercourse and he'll laugh at you. The same can be said of many, many women. Self stimulation without a man's participation and culminating in an orgasm is quite possible. Sometimes quicker, less messy, and preferable. What a bunch of psychobabble you've shared. Let me guess, you also believe that a hysterectomy has no impact on a woman's sexual response? That all women share the same terrific outcome and if they don't, well, it must be "all in their heads."

Geez. How about participating in some CMEs on sexual dysfunction? They're available on Medscape and might surprise and enlighten you.
