Surgery over 2 weeks ago, endo, spotting nowFrom: Anna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 25 Jan 2000 20:58:27 -0600 (CST)
I had a lap on 1/9/00 for pelvic pain. Doctor found endo on my right ovary and adhesion binding my uterus to bowel. I had slight bleeding the day of surgery, which went away. I knew to expect that. My pain went away after surgery, but came back within 9 days. I take Ortho/Novum 1/50 BCP back to back, and am currently taking Vicodan and Phengran as needed for pain. I started Danazol (400mg per day) last night. Other drugs include (I'm an asthmatic) Flovent, D-Allergy, Singulair, Nasacort. I started spotting yesterday, before I started the Danazol. I am not a person that normally spots. Is this anything I should be concerned about? What could be causing this? I have never had breakthrough bleeding on the pill - going on 2 years now of use. Is this possibly related to the surgery or endo? Thank you for any thoughts.
