Re: adenomyosisFrom: ddtmm (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 21 Jan 2000 09:40:25 -0800
Hello Marina This sounds just like what happened to me just over 3 years ago. I suffered from severe cramps and pelvic pain. My 1st doctor thought Endo too, and did a laproscopy and found *nothing* I was told to quit eating bread and lose some weight (I was only 150 ,20 pounds over weight) and to get on with my life. Well that was easier said than done I went through several doctors before I found one that would do another surgery.( because of the frist doctors report that there was nothing, others doctors felt the same way, I finely found a teaching hospital ) Anyways I had the surgery(TAH) and it was confirmed adenomyosis and endometriosis. My story dose not end here, but yours could. Hope you find the help you need. Try to find a doctor that listens to *you* and the pain you are in.( have you tried Darvocet N-100's for the pain that is the only thing that has given me and relief from the pain, dosent take it away but it helps) You dont have to live in pain!! Good luck and let us know what you find out. Denise
