adenomyosisFrom: Marina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 21 Jan 2000 10:07:55 -0600 (CST)
I have been having pelvic pain for a long time now, recently (within the last year severe). My Dr. performed a laproscopy on me 2 weeks ago. He was sure I had Endo. He said I had no adhesions and no signs of Endo. What he did say was that my uterus looked to be sagging and slightly enlarged. A condition he called Adenomyosis. Could you please tell me what exactly this is and what has to be done to relieve the pain. I'm to the point where motrin no longer works and the pain pills he prescribed does'nt even work (anaprox). I am tired of living with this pain. It drains me. Please let me know of any information. I do go see my Dr. today for my 2 week check-up, but would like to have some insight of my own. Thankyou,
-- Marina
