Hi- Wow, what a tough decision for your daughter! Anti-choice (aka pro-life) groups often ignore medical facts or give false medical information. There is not any research that I've found or heard of (I work as a pregnancy options counselor for a pro-choice agency) that states a fetus feels pain during an abortion. It may be helpful for your daughter to contact a local pro-choice agency or a clinic in the area. Many times, good clinics that provide abortions have options counseling on site. As previous people have posted, adoption is also a good choice for some people. It's not for everyone, just as abortion and parenting are not for everyone. There are many people out there looking for a baby to adopt, but she should remember this is *her* pregnancy and *her* choice. Each of the options takes a lot of thought, and this is not a simple, easy decision to make. Best of luck. Thanks for being such a wonderful, supportive mother!
