When I was two to three weeks pregnant, I had surgery to repair a severed tendon in my hand. I did not know I was pregnant at the time, so no special anesthesia was used.

My ob/gyn says this is not a problem, but I would be interested in a second opinion.

My anesthesia was an IV regional. Anesthesia typre: Bier Block Surgery Time: 1 1/2 - 2 hrs

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thank you.
