1st baby was prematureFrom: Nancy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 12 Jan 2000 23:18:23 -0600 (CST)
With my first pregnancy I had bacterial vaginosis treated with Flagyl at 32 weeks. I was put on bedrest 33 to 35 weeks due to contractions treated with oral terbutiline. At 35 1/2 weeks I had the stress of my father dying and I delived 6 days later (my water broke) at 36 1/2 weeks. Am I at much higher risk of preterm labor than the average woman with my next pregnancy? I know BV and stress can lead to preterm labor. So, I am hoping if I am infection and stress free I can go to term. What is your opinion?... (I know it can't be scientific.)
-- Many Thanks, Nancy
