Are their any tender doctors out there that help you address > other issues as well? Please help, Wendy Wendy, You are not alone. And yes, there are many wonderful doctors out there who are more than willing to help you. You sound like you have some of the symptoms of PCOS (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome). You would be best off to see an endocrinologist for this - or reproductive endocrinologist if you are trying to get pregnant. Do some research on your own first and then, if the symptoms seem familiar, look for an endo or repro-endo doc who has an interest in PCOS. I suggest starting with the following two excellent sites: PCOSupport Association http://www.pcosupport.org/ Atlanta Reproductive Health Centre http://www.ivf.com/pcostreat.html And more links: http://www.ivf.com/links/pcoslinks.html One thing to keep in mind, you do not have to have all the symptoms you find listed to have PCOS. It represents itself differently in each woman, and between 6-10% of women have this. Good luck to you!
