Echogenic round 2mm focus

I had an ultrasound yesterday which revealed an echogenic focus in the babies heart. The "bright spot " was very small, all four chambers were evident and fine aside from this spot.(I am approximately 17 weeks presently) Just in Dec. I had a full term stillborn that was undetermined after the autopsy. The Dr., who is a specialist, seemed very passive but said this could signify downs.I am 26 and have 2 very healthy girls (6 and & 7 yrs) from a previous marriage.I'm having a difficult time with him saying downs and don't worry about it in the same sentence.Unfortunately, I don't think I can handle much more dissappointment without completely losing my mind.I'm feeling extremely depressed and even guilty, about specifically what, I'm unsure. How worried should I be about this? I feel like something going terribly wrong is emminent.I'm not finding too much about echogenic focus and what I find seems open ended. Everything else in the ultrasound was fine. How should I digest this information?Am I just being too worrisome? I am scheduled for another ultrasound in 8 weeks. At that point if something is wrong I feel like I have no other options aside from having a baby that could possibly have some serious health issues. I'm not sure if that's something I feel I want or can handle.(Ah, there's the guilt issue. I'm feeling as if I'm being selfish. But I'm sure everyone wants a healthy child.) Please get back to me ASAP to let me know a little more about this condition. thankyou, Georgine English 3733 West 132 st. Cleve., Oh 44111
