Dear Doctor: I have a friend that just recently found out she had a lot of little cyst inside both of her ovaries. The doctor told her that her ovaries were 3 times their normal size. Could you tell me what causes cyst inside the ovaries? I am very aware of them being on the outside of ovaries, as I have suffered with them myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
