Small Lesion or Chorioangioma?From: EJBANJ@aol.comMon Sep 6 17:11:15 1999
I had placenta chorioangiomas with both of my children. The pathologist said that he had never seen so many "tumors" before. He could not believe that the baby was alive. Can any ultrasound pick these up? What are the odds of this happening with a third pregnancy? My second son was much worse than our first. He has quite a few problems, but I am very proud of his progress. I would like some information. Both of my deliveries were very similiar. I had two emergency c-sections. With my first one, his heart was enlarged, limbs were small, low tone, large head. With my second, severely enlarged heart, very small limbs, high tone, did not breath for 7-8 minutes, large head and heart failure. He has a slight cp and a few other problems. Any information for me? e-mail me at ejbanj@aol.com thank you!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
